Hiring Property Manager

Technical and Industry Knowledge:

Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, or related field preferred. Alternatively, 7+ years of relevant experience may suffice.

Operational Experience: 2–5 years in real estate operations, focusing on property management and accounting.

Financial Acumen: Proficiency in bookkeeping, budgeting, and financial reporting. Ability to manage A/R and A/P, control operating expenses, and oversee capital improvements.

Retail Leasing Knowledge: Understanding of industry practices and contract terminology.

Software Proficiency: Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite, email, and internet research. Experience with accounting software (e.g., JD Edwards) and aptitude for learning new programs (e.g., Serengeti, Payer Express, AIQ) beneficial.

Interpersonal and Management Skills:

Communication: Strong oral and written skills for effective interaction with tenants, vendors, and senior management.

Organizational Abilities: Excellent organization and time management to handle multiple properties and tasks efficiently.

Problem-Solving: Ability to promptly address and resolve operational issues, tenant transitions, and other challenges.

Customer Focus: Commitment to developing and maintaining strong tenant and vendor relationships, ensuring high satisfaction levels.

Integrity: Demonstrated trustworthiness in all professional dealings.
