Summary of the Updated Tardiness Policy:
- Management reviewed timesheets from the past three months and found an overall issue with tardiness.
- Some employees have been contacted individually, but everyone is expected to improve.
- Employees should clock in as soon as possible, ideally within 10 minutes of their scheduled start time (this does not apply to the second shift if you're doubling).
- Through October (August–October review period):
- Tardiness is defined as clocking in more than 15 minutes late.
- Your tardiness rate is calculated as:
- Number of tardies ÷ Number of assigned shifts (excluding no-shows, standbys, and covers).
- The goal is to keep your 3-month tardiness rate below 7.5%.
- Starting after October:
- Tardiness will be redefined as clocking in more than 10 minutes late.
- No further changes to the policy are planned.
