Health inspections and important announcements.

• A health inspection was conducted today. The restaurant passed but scored 74/100, so improvements are needed.
• Front of house is mostly in good shape, with required changes:
  • Bar utensils can no longer be stored in standing water.
  • Bar must keep a stack of paper towels available.
  • Handwash stations must always have hot water, soap, and paper towels. Bussers should be notified if anything is missing, or staff should replace items themselves (this will be a side duty for P and B sections).
• Management will focus on improving back of house cleanliness and sanitation with Francisco.
• March shifts will be reduced. No new hires are planned. Most staff can expect about 80–90% of desired hours until around April, when the Cedar Park restaurant opens.
• There are 2TB hard drives available for anyone interested.

Dragon Dance - Feb 17th 7pm (Controllers, be sure to give people extra time to eat ~30 minutes, and increase wait times)

• Chinese Lunar New Year - Feb 18th (we're closing early, not sure how early yet)

Cancellations: reservations above 5 people require credit cards now to cancel. Hosts to mark canceled because guest only have minimum 2 hours notice to do it on their own.

Please make sure to double check with the head servers before leaving your shift. We just had a situation where guests in a morning server’s section were left without service for about 20 minutes because the morning server left immediately once the evening server arrived. We need to ensure proper handoffs are happening so our guests are never left unattended. Let’s stay mindful and communicate before clocking out.
